Dra writing
“Guy, when you were a child, did your mother ever tell you stories which, while you knew they couldn’t be true, they frightened you anyway? Stories which she used to make sure you didn’t go out after dark by yourself, or wander off alone?” Jer was dead serious, even more than normal.
“Of course, whose childhood doesn’t have a fairy tale or two entangled in it?” Guy answered.
This is a story about my family.
My family is unique for many different reasons and I should not have been in the least surprised when Katrina's story took a unique turn as well. This story is mostly about her. Her father and I play pivotal roles, but we are in the background, as she becomes her own person.
This is a story about family, trust, and creatures who exist in dark places. And about one who knew the latter all too well, and had to reacquaint himself with the former.

What people have to say:
"Just
when you thought the dunami world couldn’t get better!
Wow. Usually when people write a 700 page book, the next
one is lack-luster and lazy, or overly intense and drawn out in effort to
“one-up” the last book. Lost and Found is none of these. It is expertly paced to
bring you a whole new story of acceptance, love and family. The accessibility of
Heidi Wright’s writing style makes it possible to dive head first into the
story. Her connection to the character easily comes through and connects with
the reader. It easy to connect visually and emotionally with the story through
the first person entries of each character.
Allowing you to fall back in love with old friends like
Dra and Jer, yet full of new, dimensional characters, Heidi’s second book opens
a whole new set of possibilities. Not only do we see more into the culture of
the dumani, we are led, magnificently, on a journey through the dunami world. It
successfully melds the worlds of two dunami cultures, and delves deeper into the
history of this strange world.
I cannot wait to see another piece of the mystery that is
the dunami world!" - Tammi
"...I liked it. I can't say if I liked the first or second better because each had their perks and each had their weaker points, which in the end brought them out to about the same.
I enjoyed seeing from Katrina's point of view a lot. She was probably my favorite character, though Jer was pretty close. I still love him.
It was very interesting seeing another part of the 'dunami world. And to see just how different it was from one part to another. The culture change was very drastic, but I thought you did a good job of showing part of why that was.
I also thought your antagonists in this one were pretty well done, well described, and fairly easily understood." - Brianna
